I have been a keen singer and performer from an early age, taking part in all my school productions and accepting many lead roles. I studied singing, drama and dance at Brighton and Hove school of music and drama where I gained recognised certificates and took part in festivals. I went on to full time stage school in Brighton at the age of 14.
After school I became a drama teacher at a small preparatory school whilst still being involved with local dramatic societies. I started singing for pop bands in my late teens and met my husband who is a drummer and currently runs a highly successful business called “Shake Rattle and Roll”. After having my own children I became a registered childminder which has been a fantastically rewarding job. I have always used singing and music as a way of entertaining children and helping them to develop confidence and musical ability. Now that my own children are older Mini Melodies offers me a chance to combine my love of singing and experience with small children.
